Kumbhalgarh

Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan’s most breathtaking fort, is located in the heart of Rajputana, in the Rajsamand district. This remote and commanding citadel (which has only been stormed once) is Rana Pratap’s birthplace, surrounded by deep ravines and deeper forests. Rana Kumbha of Mewar constructed it in the 15th century.
