Kutch Mahotsav

This festival of colours serves as a showcase for the fantastic lifestyle that has made Kutch famous both domestically and globally. Every year, thousands of Kutchi residents visit Rann Utsav, a festival of arts, crafts, music, dancing, food, and nature. This yearly event honours the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat’s Kutch area, a region with a diversified ethnic and natural history. The festival’s celebration area covers an area of 5,000 square metres. This celebration is further enhanced by the gorgeous full moon nights, which provide a unique scenery and fantastical setting.

Background of Rann Utsav

This festival in the desert was established in 2006, and Narendra Modi, our current prime minister, launched it. The main goal of this festival was to promote Gujarat as a tourist destination to a global audience.
