Haridwar Day Tour By private car and driver

DIBC provides private car and driver for Haridwar day tour. Best day tour package to visit Haridwar from Delhi by private car and driver.

Situated in the northern state of Uttarakhand, the city of Haridwar is where the sacred river of Ganges first comes down from the Shivalik mountains and touches the great northern plains. It is for this reason that Haridwar is also known as Gangadwara.

A holy atmosphere suffuses the very air of this city that is adorned by a large number of beautiful temples and Ghats. Known for its peaceful environment, the city also hosts a number of meditative Ashrams, where people come from far off lands in search of new paradigms.

The hillocks around the city house a number of ancient temples, the most famous among them being the Mansa Devi and the Chandi Devi Temple. At Kankhal, also known as the house of Lord Shiva’s in-laws, Hindus come from all over the country to perform the last rites of their loved ones. Ganga Aarti on Har Ki Pauri is spellbinding for every eye.
