This tour takes you through two of the most culturally rich states of Northern India : Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. The tour starts in New Delhi, a city which is a beautiful confluence of ancient and modern. From Jama Masjid to Red Fort, from Parliament House to Qutub Minar, the city of New Delhi is full of sites that are well worth your time.

Next we travel to Chandigarh which is the most well planned city of India. Designed by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, Chandigarh has a lot of attractions like Rock Garden, Sukhna lake and Rose garden. If Chandigarh is a symbol of India’s modernity then Amritsar represents its rich cultural heritage. Here is situated the holiest place of Sikh religion, the Golden Temple, a temple carved out of gold that lies in the middle of a Sarovar.

The next stage of the tour takes you to Himachal Pradesh, a state of scenic beauty, roaring rivers and marvelous mountains. Whereas a hill station like Dalhousie lets you experience the quaint piece of the foothills, at places like Rohtang Pass and Kufri you can experience the very thrill of being on high Himalayan altitudes.

In Shimla you will not only come across a vibrant cultural and tourist scene, but also be able to enrich yourself with a slice of Indian history, for the town used to be the summer capital of India during the British era and it was here that the documents for the partition were signed.

After breakfast we start off our Delhi tour by visiting old Delhi, The Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat. Then we will visit New Delhi, India Gate, President’s House, Parliament, Akshar Dham Temple, Humayun’ s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and Lotus Temple, Mahatma Gandhi Smriti. Overnight stay at Hotel.

After Breakfast drive toward Chandigarh, 4-5 Hour Journey. Visit Rock garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, Overnight stay at Hotel.

After Breakfast drive toward Amritsar, 5-6 Hour Journey, Visit Wagah Border. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Early Morning visit to Golden Temple, Jalianwalan Bagh, Afternoon drive towards Dalhousie, 5-6 Hour Journey. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

After Breakfast, visit local attractions in Dalhousie – Khajjiar Lake, Rang Mahal, Chamunda Devi Temple, Afternoon drive towards Dharamshala, 3-4 Hour Journey.
